Let us pray...
Gracious God and Father, our first father,
You are the One who has brought us to life in this world you created.
You created us and everything around us.
We turned away from you and only after disappointing
you did we return your love.
Look with favor on our earthly fathers. They helped create us in your image.
We have disappointed them, but have come to realize just how important they are to us.
Bless all our fathers, living and deceased, with comfort and health.
We bring all their needs to you and ask for strength
so they may live worthy lives.
We ask all this in the name of your Son, our model
of what it means to reverence our fathers.
In Christ's name.

St. Thomas More
"I am the King's good servant, but God's first." So said St. Thomas More, whose feast we celebrate on June 22nd. St. Thomas More was once Sir Thomas More, a lawyer and statesman in the court of King Henry VIII. When the king wished to dissolve his marriage to Catherine of Aragon -- who was infertile -- the pope held up the validity of the marriage. Desperate to generate an heir, King Henry declared himself the head of the Church of England and granted himself an annulment. Most leaders signed the "Oath of Supremacy," declaring the King's power over the English Church. Thomas More, then the Lord Chancellor, refused to sign. He was sentenced to death. St. Thomas More reminds us of our call to integrity and to the defense of truth in the public square. Thomas More is the patron saint of lawyers, politicians, and civil servants.

Religious Education is moving to Family Formation.
Registration is now open for the 2020-21 program.
Who should register? If you have a child in PK-4 through 9th grade, please use registration link below.
Grades 1 & 2 are required for celebrating the Sacraments of First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Communion.
Grades 8 & 9 are required for celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Grades K-7 are all part of Family Formation
PreK-4 will take place during the 10am Mass
There is one on-line registration for all grades listed above.
